Michael EastonRoger Howarth and Kristen Alderson will be leaving Port Charles “at least temporarily” to reprise their roles as John McBain, Todd Manning and Starr Manning on Prospect Park’s revamping of One Life to Live, according to Daytime Confidential. The move comes under an agreement ABC Daytime signed when the characters moved to General Hospital.

“Prospect Park realizes these three characters could initially help draw fans to the new One Life,” a source tells Daytime Confidential. “There are ongoing talks between ABC and Prospect Park about the characters returning to General Hospital at some point, which could be fine with [Prospect Park] as they eventually want to go much younger with their soaps.”

The actors, who are less than enthused about the move according to Daytime Confidential, are expected to remain on General Hospital through February.

Would you like to see the characters return to One Life to Live, or would you prefer John, Todd and Starr to stay in Port Charles?

This was just posted on tvline.com. The article lists both Jill Larson as Opal Cortlandt
Thorsten Kaye as Zach Slater as signed on AMC!

I would actually prefer to see them stay on GH. I love the way their characters have meshed with the GH ones and the storylines are great right now. I know Todd and John have to wrap up some things on OLTL so they should go back temporarily to close those stories and then come back. Starr’s story on OLTL ended clean (it actually ended on GH when Cole and Hope died), so she should just stay. What would she do back in Llanview anyway?

    GH hands down.
